This set of three framed artworks by Jonathan Charles draws inspiration from antique architectural decoration, where symbolic motifs were cast not merely as ornament, but as expressions of meaning. The ribbon, the crown of olive leaves and the radiant sun each speak to themes of honor, peace and vitality. Cast in bronze and presented with linen matting in patinated antique gold frames, the pieces elevate historic architectural details into sculptural studies. Together, they form a refined composition that celebrates the enduring language of symbolism, craftsmanship and classical proportion.
