Inspired by Jens Risom’s original 1943 design, this chair is simple, beautiful, and practical. Designed to make the most out of the few materials available during WWII, this piece features a streamlined hardwood frame with a deep seat and extended backrest that allows for maximum comfort while reclining. Tightly woven heavy-duty cotton straps are basket-woven to make up the seat of the chair. This great chair will be a wonderful addition to any decor - from mid-century modern to contemporary.
