The lost wax process used to create them ensures the jugs exhibit an artisanal attribute: where the vases are terracotta-colored, the wax prevented their surfaces from taking the black glazing. This is a painterly technique that results in appealing surfaces that have been perfected over ages.

Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth or static duster. Always avoid the use of harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as they may cause damage to the item's finish.
