This collection, which is still highly produced today by Knoll featured the use of curved steel wires to form chairs, ottomans and tables. It is said that his inspiration was to create furniture that resembled a \"shiny sheaf of wheat.\" In 1985, Warren Platner was inducted into Interior Design Magazines Hall of Fame.
